We are looking to hire a talented Integrated Marketing Manager to join our team to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion and author submissions. Our ideal candidate has the ability to translate data, research and marketing plans that inform branding with campaign development and monitoring across all marketing channels.

MAJOR FOCUS

  • Manage and oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of integrated communication & marketing plans in support of corporate and product/service level initiatives.

  • Develop critical paths, define audiences, key messages, success indicators, tactics, and measurement strategies.

  • Coordinate tactical marketing plans that seamlessly integrate across channels and effectively engage target audiences.

  • Assist with planning and executing on campaigns using owned, earned and paid media for company publications/products and social media such as Twitter, Instagram, Google Ads and YouTube along with in-house/industry Advertising, PR and Social Media platforms.

  • Primary contact with departments and stakeholders to collect input and feedback.

  • Create and implement all marketing strategies. Select innovative and meaningful marketing tactics to deliver on goals in support of broader company goals.

  • Contribute to the oversight and management of the department's operating budget.

  • Measure the effectiveness of the marketing strategies and tactics as they relate to the predetermined goals and suggest optimizations. Develop comprehensive and meaningful post-campaign reporting.

  • Assist the team in the development, communication and ongoing maintenance of standard operating procedures and a prioritization process for request management.

  • Support Business Development and Marketing on strategic institutional projects including major marketing campaigns, awareness building initiatives and internal communications strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a relevant combination of education and work experience.

  • 3-5 years' experience developing, implementing, and measuring marketing strategies and/or campaigns or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Marketing generalist, understanding of all marketing channels and customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively on cross-function and virtual teams.

  • Knowledge of the scholarly publishing industry and process is an asset.

  • Understanding of how to develop and implement marketing briefs.

  • Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively, and work independently.

  • Understanding of and demonstrated experience in marketing tactics, execution, measurement, research, and brand management.

  • Highly digitally literate, with experience and understanding of marketing platforms including social media, digital campaigns, and automated marketing solutions.

  • Knowledge of marketing analytics platforms, KPIs is an asset. (HubSpot Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads)

  • Proficient knowledge of CRM and social media scheduling software such as HubSpot.

  • Graphic and business software including the components of HubSpot design tools (Canva, drag and drop editors), Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite.

  • Ability to provide an opinion and explanation, receive critique, coordinate messaging, and create design balancing multiple dynamics.

  • An openness and willingness to learn and share.
