The new Karma program is focused exclusively on the rigor of your peer review.

Here’s how it works:

• Earn Points: You earn Karma points for reviews that meet JMIR Publications' quality standards.
• Automatic Conversion: Points convert directly to redeemable Karma credits.
• Redeem: Credits are valid for 24 months and can be applied toward your future Article Processing Fees (APFs) or other JMIR services.

To ensure rewards reflect scholarly excellence, Karma points are awarded once an editorial decision is reached. By rewarding the quality of your feedback—regardless of whether a paper is accepted or rejected—we ensure your expertise is recognized in a fair and meaningful way.
